Dr Ian McBryde - Principal/Veterinarian
Ian has worked at the Salisbury Highway Veterinary Surgery since 1983. He has a strong interest in Behaviour and sits on a number of different committees. You may even hear him on the ABC radio on Saturday mornings. When not at the surgery he enjoys spending time with his family and rowing.
Michele Haynes - Practice Manager
Michele joined the team over 13 years ago working one shift a week and relieving, since then has received her qualifications in Veterinary Nursing and now works as the Practice Manager. She also started and co-ordinates Puppy Preschool Classes. Her spare time is spent in the garden and reading a good book.
Dr Peter Hangartner - Veterinarian
After nearly 30 years living in Zimbabwe Peter moved to Australia and has been working at here for 3 years tending to furry and feathered friends. He spends a lot of time outside working hours with his daughter (born in Adelaide) enjoying all that South Australia has to offer also playing in a concert band and the odd game of basketball keeps him out of mischief.
Jaci Troughton - Veterinary Nurse
Jaci has been working at the Salisbury Highway Veterinary Surgery for over 24 years and will be found on the Reception Desk. Jaci is a one of the first qualified Veterinary Nurses in South Australia and started her career at Paradise Vet Clinic. She has seen a lot of changes in the industry over the years and worked with a large number of different vets during this time. In her spare time Jaci has a variety of interests from boarding cats, showing horses and running a small hobby farm.
Kerry Tomlinson - Veterinary Nurse
Kerry started here in March 1997 and since starting she has become a Qualified Nurse, gained her Accreditation and also completed an Extended Certificate in Surgery. With a strong interest in surgery Kerry spend most of her time at work behind the scenes looking after the much loved family members of our clients. She is also the Cat Adoption Centre Co-coordinator. In her spare time Kerry enjoys spending time with her cats and showing them.
Leah Chapman - Veterinary Nurse
Leah joined the team 4 years ago. She is a Qualified Nurse and has developed the surgery's weight loss program Bulge Busters offering nutritional advise to those in need, also maintains our very special Laboratory Equipment and is our main Dental Hygienist. In her spare time Leah and her husband have a small number of horses that they breed and show.
Sarcha Alderson Veterinary Nurse
Sarcha is also a Qualified Veterinary Nurse who has been employed at the surgery for a few years with time off to have 2 children. You will find Sarcha on the Reception desk at the surgery on a part time basis as well as assisting with other clerical duties. In her spare time she enjoys riding and showing her horse.
