The Cat Adoption Centre was first introduces at Salisbury Highway in November 2000. The main aim of our adoption centre is to find loving families to adopt cats and kittens that have previously unwanted. Before any cats and kittens go through the adoption program they are given a health check and also a behaviour assessment to ensure they are suitable for adoption. Once they have passed this they are then vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, wormed and also started on a flea and heartworm prevention. When they are ready to be adopted they are put out on display in the reception area until they have found a loving home.
Each cat or kittens leaves with a pack to get you started, this includes a litter tray, sample bag of litter, food bowl, collar, food and a cardboard carry box.
