Puppy Pre-School
Puppy preschool is a 3 week course for puppies between the ages of
8 and 16 weeks that have started their vaccination
course. During the course you will learn up to date
techniques to manage your puppy’s behaviour.
Aimed at preventing future behavioural problems, puppy preschool is
fun and informative for both novice and experienced
puppy owners.
Doggy Deportment
Older puppies between the ages of 4 and 7 months are encouraged to
attend our Doggy Deportment Classes. This intensive 5
week course will teach you to problem solve and learn
how to manage your puppy’s behaviour.
The course covers manners training, preventing and managing
chewing, digging, jumping up, pulling on lead and a host
of other helpful tips and advice to assist your dog to
grow into a well-behaved member of your family.
All classes are run by a Delta qualified and accredited instructor.
Bookings are essential for both Puppy Preschool and
Doggy Deportment as places are limited.
Adult Dog
Training
Our behavioural trainer, Liz, also runs training classes
for pet dogs at Virginia, just 15 minutes North of
Salisbury. Contact the surgery to get more
information about these classes.
Behaviour Consultations
Salisbury Highway offers behavioural consultations to
owners of pets with behaviour problems. Separation
anxiety, noise phobias and inappropriate urination are
some of the more common behavioural issues that owners
seek advice for. Dr. McBryde has a special interest in
behaviour and is assisted by our qualified behavioural
trainer. Between them they will help you implement
a management and training program.
Private Training
The surgery also offers private training sessions for all age
dogs. These sessions are popular with people who just
have one or two issues that need addressing, e.g. jumping
up, not coming when called, pulling on lead, etc.
To find out more about the classes phone the surgery on (08) 8258 7978
and our receptionist will be able to assist you with
your enquiry.
Should you need to enquire about a behavioural
consultation or individual training session phone the
surgery and speak to Liz.
